We collect no personal data. LazySign is designed as a fully client-side application. Here is exactly what we collect:
- No accounts — We do not require registration or login.
- No uploaded files — Your documents and signatures never leave your browser. All processing happens locally on your device using JavaScript.
- No cookies — We do not set any tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or functional cookies.
- No analytics — We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking services.
2. How LazySign Works
When you upload a document and draw a signature, everything happens inside your browser's memory using HTML5 Canvas and Web APIs. The FileReader API reads your file locally, the Canvas API renders and composites your signature, and the final signed document is generated entirely client-side. No data is transmitted to any server.
3. Advertising (Google AdSense)
LazySign displays advertisements via Google AdSense to cover operating costs. Google AdSense may use cookies and web beacons to serve relevant ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. This is standard practice across the web.
Implied Consent via Continued Use
LazySign uses a notice-and-continued-use approach to cookie consent, which is compliant with data protection regulations including the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive.
Upon your first visit, a small notice appears briefly at the bottom of the screen informing you that this site uses cookies from Google AdSense. By continuing to use LazySign — scrolling, clicking, uploading a document, drawing a signature, or any other interaction — you consent to our use of cookies as described in this policy.

- Cloudflare CDN (pdf.js) — Loads the PDF.js library for rendering PDF documents in your browser. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies to this interaction.
No other third-party scripts, trackers, or services are used.
5. Data Retention
Since we do not collect or store any personal data or documents, there is nothing to retain. Once you close your browser tab, all data associated with your session is permanently discarded.
6. Children's Privacy
LazySign does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us — we will take steps to delete such information immediately.
